Virtual International Journal "The Golden Section: Theory and Applications"
Now in the World the alone specialized Journal dedicated to Fibonacci numbers is issued. "The Fibonacci Quarterly" is issued quarterly by the American Fibonacci Association since 1963.
It is doubtless, that "The Fibonacci Quarterly" is characterized by a rather high mathematical level. However, the Journal is oriented on development of the Fibonacci numbers theory as "clear" mathematical theory and its edition does not encourage the publications in this area of "un-mathematical" nature. As the large group "un-mathematical" scientists (philosophers, botanists, engineers, architects, economists, designers etc.) is interested in development of the applications of Fibonacci numbers and golden section, "The Fibonacci Quarterly" can not satisfy completely Fibonacci's needs of modern science (specially in a part of the numerous applications). For this reason we has idea of issuing of the Virtual International Journal "The Golden Section: Theory and Applications".
And the collection of scientific papers "The Golden Section: Theory and Applications" issued by the University Eduardo Mondlane (Mozambique) according to Prof. Stakhov's initiative can be considered as a prototype of such journal.
And we suppose to keep the same title for our Virtual Journal. We consider, that the data domain of our Journal should be extremely broad. It, similarly to our Museum, should encompass all areas of science and art. What requirements to the articles of our Journal. We consider, that the International Journal "Foundations of Sciences" is a good example for our Virtual Journal. And main requirement to the articles of our Journal is maximal popularity of presentation of your scientific ideas without a loss of scientific argumentation. And we are going to place debatable articles on the pages of our Journal.
As soon as we receive your biographic data, we will try to form an editorial board of our Virtual Journal and begin to work. We wait for your proposals and guidelines concerning subjects of our Journal and structure of the editorial board.
